Shaftesbury during the Gold Hill Fair

Are you a member of the Shaftesbury Community, perhaps involved with a charity, Sports or Social Club, School or Community Group?

We would like you to join us in the theme for Gold Hill Fair 2009.

What's in it for your group?

We want you to

  • Raise public awareness of your group
  • Increase membership
  • Raise funds

What's in it for us?

  • We want to provide a vibrant, diverse, weekend experience, free to the people of Shaftesbury.

Over the 2 days of Gold Hill Fair over 10,000 people will visit and we have a great opportunity to Grandstand your interest in a number of ways.

By:

  • Putting on Practical demonstrations or entertainment (get up on that Stage!!)
  • Involving the public in some interactive fun
  • Giving you the opportunity to advertise and meet and greet the public.

The Rotary Club of Shaftesbury stages this event for the community and we will give our support to any group wishing to get involved and contribute.

If you have an idea, desire and commitment to "Celebrate Shaftesbury" then get in touch with me David Wynn-Mackenzie on 01747 854051

Gold Hill Fair will take place on Saturday 4th July and Sunday 5th July, with events in St James Park, Park Walk, Gold Hill and the Abbey and on Sunday in the High Street.
